Firmware Version:

Hi,

I'm interested in buying the RE605X extender and create an EasyMesh network with the Archer AX72 AX5400 router.

As it seems both of these devices can get SW update for EasyMesh support.

While it's written that for the Archer AX72 there is Ethernet Backhaul support, this is not stated for the RE605X extender.

Can someone please shed some light on this subject?

Would Ethernet Backhaul work between these two?

Is this feature stated in regards to routers only, and the extenders compliance is depended on EasyMesh or OneMesh ?

Thanks,

Meny

Hi,

The RE605X doesn't support Ethernet Backhaul for EasyMesh. At least not at the moment.

So far there is only one single model of range extender that has received a firmware update that adds this particular feature.
