Hi,

I can't replace the ISP-provided router as a housemate insists on a landline phone that this current router provides. But its wifi his terrible, so I want to replace it with other devices.

I have tried a TPLink AX72. Its wifi wasn't quite good enough to cover the whole property, so I mixed it with a RE605X to extend it where needed. However to use the OneMesh system both devices support, I had to put the AX72 in Router mode. When it was in Access Point Mode the OneMesh options were greyed out.

I'm looking at maybe replacing this setup with two XE75's. But again I want them to operate in Access Point mode. Will the mesh system in these be an option or will it be greyed out too?
