Ok,

I searched forever, spoke to technical support 100 times they sent me 3 new X50's and had no luck. I was trying to use the Deco X50. It would red light everytime it tried to connect to the internet. I tried updating the firmware, soft and hard resetting both the router and the modem with no luck. Well thankfully I eventually found a solution to the problem. 

Here's the fix

1. Start>Run>CMD (Be sure to run with admin privileges)

2. ipconfig /all

3. Under "Ethernet adapter Ethernet" look for "Physical Address"

4. Write the sequence down it'll be something like 11-15-5G-TH-DG-K7

5. Open the Deco App

6. Go to "More" (bottom right)

7. Then "Advanced"

8. Press "MAC Clone"

9. Enable MAC Clone

10. Use Custom MAC Address

11. Enter the string of numbers and letters you wrote down

12. Save

Boom. Internet Works.
