Hi,

I found the following method intended for Windows computers on the Internet and it works for my wireless USB adapter that uses the same driver as yours.

1) open "regedit"

2) go to the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

3) search through all the subfolders 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. until you find the one that contains a string reading something like "TP-Link Wireless USB Adapter" or "Realtek 8814AU Wireless LAN 802.11ac USB NIC"

4) within that folder create a new "String Value" and name it "NetworkAddress" (right-click in an empty area to get the "New" menu to pop up)

5) right-click on the new entry "NetworkAddress", click on "modify" and then type a new MAC address of your choice into the entry field (without any - or : )

6) unplug and re-plug your T9UH and the verify the MAC address has changed

By the way, there are limitations what the second digit of the MAC address can be. "E" and "2" worked for me, but you can test yourself what else works.

Which variant of Windows are you using?

Is your's a stand-alone installation of Windows with admin user rights or is this one that is administrated by an organization?

Anyway, I think the programs you've tried likely do the same as the manual method I suggested and since this seems to work fine for most other users I think there must be something special on your installation of Windows.

It's possible that the Archer T9UH V3 doesn't use the Realtek chip anymore, but I can't find a driver for V3 on TP-Link's website yet, so I can't check.

Can you please post the driver version that is currently installed for your T9UH?

Ok, I see.

One more thing you could try is a newer driver. Perhaps the "chipset driver" suggested by TP-Link in this thread. https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/509006

That one is just a year older than the one I've used (1030.44.727.2022 as per my earlier screenshot).

The driver from the thread linked earlier does include the vendor ID and product ID of your T9UH, therefore it is supported.
