Hi there.

I have two issues recently come to life from a new broadband provider. All other devices on the network seem to be fine, just the desktop pc the most important one, unfortunately.

My Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-Core Processor 3.80 GHz

32.0 GB Ram

Windows 10 home

First issue: is I have random drops of connectivity, there seems to be a spike of signal followed by no information being passed to the adapter. Unplug the adapted and it can SOMETIMES help. It is was plugged into 3.0 USB. But have switched to a 2.0 to see if this helps after reading another thread...

Second issue: Annoyingly I cannot seem to get the adapter onto 5ghz range. My router supports this, is dual band and all my other devices, laptop etc are on it. I have tried all the options on the screenshot below either they do not connect or they automatically go onto a 2.4ghz range.

I would love for there to be an option here to force the issue?

Any advice would be wonderful.

Thanks for looking!

Hi,

I think you might have already found a solution for the first issue.

Regarding the second issue. What channel is your 5 GHz wireless network running at? I suggest for a test you should set your router to channel 36 and then check if the T9UH can see the 5 GHz network.
