Model: Archer C24
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.10.0 Build 210830 Rel.72007n(4555)

Hi, does anyone know why my Archer C24 is not detecting the 5Ghz of our main router. I would like to use the C24 as wifi extender, however it only detects the 2.5ghz. All of my devices are detecting the 5Ghz. I tried putting the SSID and PASSWORD manually but no luck at all. I've watched a youtube tutorial wherein he just changed the channel of the 5Ghz settings through the ADVANCE settings but when I access the WEB GUI, there no such thing that exist. The settings I see are very limited settings.

Hi, the video settings you watched is for wireless router mode, since your Archer C24 is in extender mode, the settings on web interface is different from that for router mode.

Besides, if your C24 cannot detect 5GHz WiFi of your main router, it is recommended to change 5G channel on the main router, it is recommended to use 5GHz band 1 such as channel 36, then please check if the C24 will be able to detect it.
