  @yavuzy No interference, other networks are on separate channels. There is no QoS and parental control enabled

Hi,

If this is very much bothering you, then try the ultimate test.

Reset the AX55 Pro to Factory Default Settings (the full "FACTORY RESTORE" option).

Wait until the AX55 Pro has booted up again and then perform the wireless speed test right away, I mean without changing any settings and without logging into any TP-Link ID. Just connect your Killer AX1675 or your other devices right to the TP-Link_xxxx_5G with the password printed on the router's label.

In case you are connecting to the Internet via PPPoE, then of course you need to configure the Internet connection of the Archer AX55 Pro first. But only change any settings that are really necessary to get you connected to the Internet. Leave the AX55 Pro as "pure" as possible and then perform your wireless speed tests.

If you now still get only 280 Mbps download speed, then I don't know what else to do. The AX55 Pro should be able to handle 500 Mbps easily.

That is really weird.

By the way, have you already tested the speed with another speedtest service? There are several out there, some examples being speedtest<dot>net, speedcheck<dot>org, fast<dot>com.

I remember a while ago another user here reported unexplainably low speedtest results and later found out that using another service everything was normal.

Or you could also test the download speed by downloading a larger file from a fast server, which would be more of a real-world test.
