Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20230511 Ref.67294

My Deco 55 will not work if I try to hook it up going from the modem to a switch then to the Deco unit. If I hook direct to the modem all works well. if I go through the switch the signal goes on and off.

Hi, if your modem is only a bridge modem only, with no router function, the correct connection layout would be:

ISP modem---main Deco X55---switch

How can I set up Deco with an existing modem?

And General questions about Ethernet Backhaul on Deco

  @David-TP Thanks, I'll have to change the way things are laid out in my house then. Can each Mesh unit be fed with hard wired Ethernet connection? Guessing since I can't go through the switch it won't be physically possible any way. 🤷

  @David-TP so I have it hooked up this way now. The Main works but the satellites do not. Doing the same thing when going thru the switch. Connection is going on and off
