I have a Deco AX3000 X55 mesh network. They don't cover as much as I want ro. My local electronics shop said that a TP link extender would become a part of the mesh and extend it. But I can't find any settings in the equipment that says that it can. It just extends the network by creating new ones.

I bought the RE705X.

Since this clearly won't work, whg should I buy?

You should buy another Deco unit to expand the Deco mesh network. Any Deco unit would do the job.

yep, I returned the extender today and ordered a x50. Hopefully that will do the job. It also supports PoE and is the outdoor version.
