Hi. From my windowsill, which is the best orientation of my Deco unit to maximise the range into the garden? Is the strongest signal from the top, front or sides or is thete no difference?

It slightly depends on the Deco model you have, however in general these are OMNI Directional antennae so it will spread out from the device horizontally in all directions if its standing up.
It will be weakest at top and bottom, strongest at the sides (assuming device is standing up)
