Channel changing option doesn't appear in the wireless settinga dialogue.

Screenshot is attached.

I tried updating the firmware to the latest version still it didn't appear

Hi,

 

You need to deactivate "Smart Connect" to be able to select a channel manually.

You need to deactivate "Smart Connect" to be able to select a channel manually.

Do you mean that if you go to the "Advanced" -> "Wireless Settings" menu and uncheck the checkbox next to "Smart Connect", then the menu shown on the screen remains like it is on the screenshot you posted earlier?

 

If so, then something must be wrong. Maybe factory-reset the router once again and then go directly to the "Advanced" -> "Wireless Settings" menu and uncheck "Smart Connect".
