Are you saying the router takes a long time to connect to the internet via PPPoE? How long does it take? Generally, how long the router boots up and connects to the internet will depend on how you configured it to connect to the internet, which means it is determined by your internet connection type and the response time of your internet server. BTW, 3-5 minutes could be normal.
Have you ever compared the connecting time with another router in your network?
Can I confirm who is your ISP?
