The D-Link now reconnected again.

The Archer has never connected reliably.

Try "client mode" on dlink or archer, and keep deco as your network needs it to be (router or AP it is the same) : two APs cannot naturally communicate with each other unless being set in WDS bridge mode (not a feature of DECO) or being part of a mesh setup (not a feature of dlink and Archer). Your deco is an AP, your dlink or your archer are also AP. there's no client here : so no connection. A client is required to connect to an AP.

 

All APs detects each others and in the best case each one of them jumps to a different channel. It's even worst than what you expect.

 

It's like trying to match two electrical female plugs : all you'll get will be sparks if you fiddle with them.

it carries mains where you want to but you need a male plug and a female plug to use it. Wi-Fi is quite the same.
