Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 210914 Rel.59719n

Hello there,

As the tittle says "Should I manually upgrade from 210914 to 220105". Since when I go to the advanced setings on the router and click on "check for updates" it says "Your firmware is up to date", however on the official Archer MR600 V2 when I tap on the fireware tap, I find that there's a newer firmware than the one originally installed on my router.

Are there bugs, or is it dangerous to manually upgrade from 210914 to 220105?

The issue on my current firmware is that I cannot use the USSD function at all. Can I fix it while staying at the same version?

Hi, it is okay to download the new firmware 220105 and update it manually.

The reason why it cannot be detected when checking for update on the web interface is that it is still not available on the cloud.

After updating to the new firmware, please test if the USSD function works properly. You could also try a different web browser to see if it is the same issue.

  @Sunshine

What is the reason behind the newer firmware not being available on the cloud? Because not being able to degrade after upgrading to the newer version is a big red flag for me.
