I have a x68 deco and have been using it for about a year. For some reason My samsung phone S22 ultra connect only on 2.4 ghz. Whereas all other laptops and iphones connect to 5GHZ with no problem. 

 

I have been researching this since long and the problem is that in my country (Pakistan) the lower bands are automatically off, on samsung phones for some reason or law of the land . Now as this is a triband router and has two 5ghz bands , they work opposite to what i require. I need them to talk among themselves on lower channels (40,44 etc) and allow connection to device on higher channels ( 140 and above ) . My phone has no problem in connecting to higher channels. Please note i have bought the x68 from costco US and it is HW version 1.6 us.

 

Is there a way to swap the bands? Can TP link please help with a software patch or any other wAy.

 

One more thing is that When u set up a router system it asks u to choose the country of usage. This means it is made for all listed countries. And that also means that it should change channels as per country law.
