Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20221020 Rel. 40492

I had a homogenous Deco M5 system with enough Parental controls built in for free: Per-user, per-day, configurable bedtime blocking.   I upgraded to an XE75 system and the free parental controls have been replaced with HomeShieldPro and a subscription model (7.99 CAD / Month).

I did not expect a HW upgrade to result in a SW downgrade.  This is a blatant cash grab, it is hidden from the end consumer, it is predatory.

@aelms add to that, these units are surprisingly weak, slow and provide extremely limited coverage. I was expecting a lot more out of these, and certainly not expecting to have to pay more for less.
