How to stop Deco app from sending notification ads?

I don't want to disable notifications completely because I still want notifications about clients joining the network. But it appears the app is piggybacking on those to send spam which is extremely annoying and quite cheesy from tp-link.
In the app settings > notifications I don't see an option to disable ads or spam

Hi, the latest APP is 3.0.48 for IOS and 3.0.19 for Android and It seemed like you were still on Deco APP 2.0. And on the 2.0, it is under Deco APP>
Settings>click on the icon of the TP-Link ID> Exclusive Offers, and turn it off.
And It is also suggested to install Deco APP 3.0 via the APP store first.

Hi, the notification could be turned off under Deco APP>Settings>App Settings>Notifications>Promotion Messages.

In my version of the app (used with X90 and X60 Decos), that option is not available.
Is there a different version of the app?
