Thank you for reaching out to the community.  May I know the Led status of the RE after setup

Please first confirm you've input the correct Wifi password during the setup process

If the extender failed the setup process,  here are some tips which you could give it a try: 

Has connected to TP-Link extender but no internet, what can I do?
