Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.0 B20210414 Rel 58075

Dear TP-Link Support,

I was Indonesia, but in here there are a lot of devices only work with band4 5Ghz. My iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, Macbook and several devices cannot detect 5Ghz from Deco. I'm using another router and set my band to band4 is working very well, and I can get maximum speed from Internet Provider.

I've seen from Bangladesh forum that Deco M4 actually can support band4 5ghz using certain firmware. Please help to provide the firmware for Band 4. I thnk we have right to control which band that allowed us to use.

Thanks

Hi, Nice to see you again.

I have searched over the internet and both band 1 and band 4 are supported in Indonesia, not like Bangladesh where only band 4 is allowed.

After checking on the Apple Community, other IOS users in Indonesia had the same issue with their routers which made me think your Apple devices have not got the software updates to lift the limit and support band 1 of 5ghz.

Thank you very much.

  @David-TP

So please help provide the band4 for Wifi 5Ghz. Most of the public space in Indonesia (like Starbucks, etc) providing 5Ghz Band4. So it's weird for me if Deco firmware can't provide such of thing.

Thanks,

  @One99

Thanks for the update.

Could you please refer to the email that I just sent and help me get the request information so that I could forward it to the senior engineers to ask for the beta firmware?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
