Do you mean you are using this Archer C24 as a range extender to extend the wireless signal of the host router? Can I confirm what is the brand and model of the host router?

Please try to modify the 5G wireless channel on the host wireless router to 36/40/44/48, then reboot both the router and the Archer C54, then confirm if C54 can search for the 5G now.

If you have a TP-Link range extender and it fails to detect the 5G signal of the Archer C54, you can also follow the troubleshooting suggestions below:

TP-Link Extender is not detecting the 5GHz Signal of the Main Router
