Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Tryinig to create a OneMesh network with a AC1600 acting as DSL modem and a AX73 acting as hotspot. Somehow they do not "see" each other as OneMesh devices. Is is a compatibily issue or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you

KF

Hi,

Currently OneMesh doesn't work between two routers

Hmm, ok. That's really unfortunate. Thanks a lot @woozle for the information.

I have my DSL connection in the basement where I use the AC1600. From there I have a LAN cable goint to the first floor where I currently use an ASUS router. This one I wanted to exchange with the AX73 to have a more powerful WLAN, mesh and be able to use the LAN-ports for my smart home gateways.

Is there any other good solution?

If you feel like you can live without the Mesh, then setup the AX73 the same way as the ASUS router was set up and just exchange the ASUS router with the AX73.

If you really want a true Mesh Wi-Fi system, preferably one with Ethernet backhaul, then you will need to look for other products.
