Model: Archer A8
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Firmware Version: 1.4.6 Build 200628 Rel.56565n(5553)

Hi when attempting to add port forwarding for my helium hotspot I receive the following message.  I am unable to change the internal ports of the hotspot and so I must use port 44158 but am unable to do so.  This is my only port forward so I have no added any conflicts myself.  It seems to be something internal that is reserved?

I am adding the text as well to make is searchable

Conflicting with existing port: 44158.  To avoid conflict, please enter another value.

I have read in another forum where a custom formware was provided (for a different port but the sme error message) also some unresolved issues matching mine.

Thanks!

Hi  @Kevin_Z  removing all Ethernet wires and then rebooting allowed me to forward this.

Hello @Jaredskar, please try the following:

Disconnect all devices from the C80 network, or power them off when that's convenient, then restart the C80 to release the connections, connect only one device to the C80 after the restart, then confirm if you can open port 44158.

Please let me know the test result, thanks.

@Jaredskar

Awesome! That's great to hear. This means there might be some other devices or services in your network that occupy 44158 port and you cannot open it for other services.

I'm going to mark your reply as the “Recommended Solution” so others can be confident in benefiting from the solution.
