Model: RE300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.8 Build 20211126 Rel. 67847

I have a TP-link Archer C7 v5.0 1.1.4 Build 20211022 rel.59103(4555) and two RE300 v1.0 both with Firmware 1.0.8 Build 20211126 Rel. 67847. The first RE300 is 4 meters from the Archer C7 and has an excellent connection with the router with an unobstructed view. Similarly the second onemesh RE300 is around 6 meters(Office) from the first RE300 with unobstructed view.

The configuration seems to work fine for everyday use in the office but when using teleconferencing such as teams I have high packet loss and jitter when connecting through the RA. I did the office365 connectivity( ) test with the following results for teams

Using ping plotter I get similar results when using 1 sec interval. When using 0.5 sec interval I get 50% packet loss.

Any idea how I can improve the connection so I can have a decent Teams experience.

Thanks,

Efty

@Eftyc

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Actually it is not very recommended wirelessly connecting one extender to another, as the performance for the second extender will usually be unsatisfactory.
If you have 2 range extenders, please try to connect  both range extenders to the router directly.
Topology : RE1 )))(( Router )))(( RE2

Or you could consider using one of REs as AP mode (wired to router or front end):
Topology:  router )) (( RE1 <Ethernet> RE2 (AP mode)  this requires RE supports AP mode.
How to configure the range extender as an access point (new logo)?
