Archer c2600 limits ethernet to 300
Hey there,
I upgraded my internet and noticed that after a couple of hours the router limits my ethernet cable to 300/300. And then when I restart the router it unlocks the full potential and doesn't limit it to 300/300 anymore. Its only on devices that are plugged in into via ethernet. And it isn't my isp when I do a speed test on the router its fine and gives me 1000/1000.
Does anyone have a idea why its doing this, did I enable a setting or something?
Thanks for the help in advance!
EDIT: Yes I tried other ethernet ports

If it's so close to 300, then this looks indeed like something is intentionally limiting the speed and not like a performance-related issue.
Most features should actually affect wired and wireless devices, but I think "IPTV" only applies for Ethernet-connected devices, so you might want to try to switch that off as well and check.

Hi,
Does it limit at exactly 300 Mbps or does it fluctuate in a large range around 300 Mbps?
I assume you have tried to replace the Ethernet cable already.
You could try if it helps when you switch off (disable) any features that you don't really need. Like "QoS", "Traffic Statistics", "Parental Control", "IPTV".

Hey,
Yes I tried replacing the cable. And not exaclty 300 but very close 10 over or under. I tried disabling QoS but not 'Traffic Statistics' let me try that!
