I have just bought this and added it to an existing powerline network.  The router is not TP-Link but is the DHCP server for the network.

For all other devices on the network, the IP addresses are renewed every few hours, but the WAP of the WPA8631P is renewing its IP every minute.

I just wonder why this is and whether t can be avoided?

While I am here, is there a way to access the powerline settings of the other TP-Link devices without a direct connection to a LAN port of one of them?

I may have missed it but, if I access via the WPA8631P web GUI, it seems that can only add/remove but not change the settings.
