archer MR400 not detecting sim card
Hi
we have 6 routers archer MR400
6 months ago, one of our routers malfunctioned not detecting sim card. we have replaced it with a new one since it is under warranty.
today second router does not detect sim card anymore. what is the problem with this router. why it is not detecting sim card anymore.
I have tried the following:
1- resetting the router
2- upgrading firmware
3- inserting another sim card
4- inserted sim card in another device, sim card is working fine.
5- tried searching internet for a solution, many people have the same problem. there is no solution.
what is the solution?
if this problem is not solved ASAP. we will go for purchasing another brand.
Thanks

Hi, have you seen this link:
[Troubleshooting] SIM Card not Found?
- Make sure the SIM card is firmly inserted per link: How do I install a SIM card for my 4G Wi-Fi router or Mobile Wi-Fi?
Some key points: Please pay close attention to the SIM card as the metal clamp that "secures it" closes and see if the act of closing pushes the SIM Card out of alignment.
May I know who is your SIM Carrier?
Could you please send me a private message about the MAC address and SN number of the broken Archer MR400?

Hi, Thank you very much for the further update.
Since it has been used for about 2 years, sometimes the internal module of the SIM slot was worn-out and had poor contact with the mainboard.
If the devices are under warranty, it is suggested to ask for a warranty from the local dealer.
Due to this issue, we have already made some improvements to the SIM slot of the newly designed models.

Thanks for reply
We have sent the router to local dealer, We are waiting for a reply.
But it is too early for the router to be worn out, thus I raised this issue for your notice. not only one router has this problem but two.
Since we bought 6 routers, We cannot guarantee now that the same will happen to other routers.
and now we cannot guarantee that local dealer will replace the router since it is out of warranty.
Since there is manufacturing problem with the slot, what will be the solution.
Thanks
