Model: Archer AX1800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20210826 Rel. 61912(5553)

Hi @Kevin_Z and other helpful members,

I have a brand new TP-Link Archer AX23/AX1800. Configurations were all fine and I was working on my Mac connected to the network without any issues.

However, the moment I connect my iPhone12 to it, I see that the router starts rebooting at random.

This exact same behavior with my previous TP-Link AX10 too.

It would be great is this is debugged and a patch provided at the earliest.

Attached logs.

@benlee

Do you mean the router will reboot itself once you connect the iPhone XR IOS 15.1 to the network? No matter it connects to the 2.4G or 5G?

Try to disable IPSec passthrough on the AX23 (under Advanced > Security > ALG), then reboot it and confirm.

Hello, you reported the same issue that happens on the Archer A10, and now the AX23 has the same behavior? If you leave the iPhone 12 disconnected from the network, will the AX23 be stable?

We do need a video clip that displaying you connect the iPhone 12 to the AX23, and AX23 reboots itself, then we will confirm.

@Kevin_Z , Attached is a video when the router reboots.

As soon as my iPhone12(running iOS 15.1.1) connects to the Wifi, the router reboots.

@ganeshahv

Is the iPhone 12 connected to the 2.4G or 5G network? How about trying the other?

The issue you reported sounds abnormal, we would like to escalate it to the support engineers, they will help investigate and help.

@Kevin_Z ,

I tried with both the networks. It is the same issue.

I received the email from the escalation team and have replied back.

I have the same issue with AC2600 V2 router. I could not find the IPSec passthrough setting under advance --> security. Please help.
