Hi,

 

I have been losing internet connection on my 6 months old AX6000 router. The wifi doesn't drop but the router is not connected to the Internet and shows orange light. Reboot doesn't help have to do a hard reboot to re-establish the internet connection. Checked the line with ISP it's not an issue from their side.(I have a lan cable provided by ISP).

 

I have tried disabling the wifi 6 features and resetting the router but that makes the internet work for two days and then the same issue starts again. 
 

Currently I am using my old router as modem and AX6000 in access mode and everything is working perfectly for more than a week.
 

Really need a solution as bought this router for all it's feature and they can't be used in access mode!

Follow this troubleshooting thread and check if any of the suggested actions will improve your connection stability.

At the end of the initial post there are detailed instructions how to approach the tech support regarding your case if nothing helps so far.

Tried everything but still disconnects! Have tried two different routers to check stability of connection and everything is working on those routers.

Hello, if the disconnect issue persists after checking all the suggested actions in the thread pointed by terziyski, please email support.forum@tp-link.com with the subject [Forum ID 270780] Router Disconnects from Internet with the following information:

1. Who is your ISP? Is it a LAN cable directly from the wall, and there is no modem, right?

2. What is the WAN connection type on the TP-Link router?

3. Save and email the System Log on the router (System Tools > System Log). Don't reboot the router, if the internet doesn't recover automatically, please login to the router page, go to Advanced > Network > Internet, click on the Connect/Disconnect to recover the connection on the router.

@Kevin_Z hi i have emailed the detials. I started with fresh reset it worked for almost 12 hours without issue and suddenly dropped internet. After app reboot it showed connected but as soon as I tried to open a website it lost the internet connection. The same thing happened after hard reboot.

Hi did email them and they responsed saying I should email or call local India customer support. Spoke to the local customer service on call he gave some changes in MTU, DNS, RTS, Channel but still it didn't help. 
 

Then i tried this random stuff and gave all my home devices a permanent IP address in DHCP setting and three days no lose of internet yet. Just once every morning 4.36 am there is some weird stuff that happens  please find the below log entry of the same.
