Model: Archer C3150
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version:

Hello everyone,

It's my first post in this forum. I need your help please in two questions.

1- When I change the operation mode from router to access point and change the LAN IP address from 192.168.0.254 to any other IP address, the change never take place after the system reboot, although i repeat this several times.

2- I have multiple access points in my work place (more than 10) and I want to get a software that allows me to manage all of these devices from a single point (management software)

thanks in advance ...

@Azizesawi

You're changing teh LAN IP address after switching the device to AP mode, right ?

Lets say your main router is with LAN IP address 192.168.0.1.

When you switch C3150 to AP mode and is has been restarted it defaults to LAN IP address of 192.168.0.254.

Log in (192.168.0.254) and change its LAN IP address to some other static LAN IP address within the 192.168.0.0/24 network (e.g 192.168.0.253)

Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0 and the gateway IP address should be 192.168.0.1 (your main router).

The click Save. The device should restart again and afterwards be accessible on the 192.168.0.253 IP address (you've set earlier).

If you want to manage your APs with a management software then probably you should use Omada solution like this.
