The router in this region has received compatibility in its firmware for Huawei 3372h-320 modem on 2021-09-16 which i need.

And the one in my region last firmware was on 2020-11-05 and is not compatible with Huawei 3372h-320 modem.

Is there a way i could install the RU region firmware to have Huawei 3372h-320 modem working. I purchased the modem specifically after reading on the website that the model is compatible with Archer C5 v4 router and to my surprise it wasn't even after installing latest firmware.

In general you can't upgrade the device with a FW for another region.

C5 v4 is with a customized FW for ISPs.

Have you tried already to upgrade with the RU region FW posted ? You can give it a go if you haven't.

Either you'll receive an error messsge during the upgrade process or it will be successful.

Just bare in mind that if the upgrade is successful your router web management interface could be in Russian.

I would not mind the russian if it would get my modem to work, i also don't understand why same model gets a newer firmware to support some modems and the device is generaly listed as supporting them while other regions actually don't cause there is no firmware for them and inducing customers in buying non compatible devices.

I can explain this. If the customized router has some new features that others don't have, it must be requested by the local ISP or sales team, which will help to improve the router compatibility in the local market.
