Port Forward Port 80?????
Hi,
I just bought the Deco X20 recently and finally got my ISP to provide me a Static IP address for running a small local web server. However, I'm trying to forward port 80 to my web server but it's not working. I see some TP-Link routers allow changing the webui port, which allows forwarding 80, but Deco doesn't seem to have an option for this. Can you help?
Thanks

I just wanted to provide an update, but thanks to TP-Link's great support, I was able to determine my problem was with my WordPress site redirecting to my local IP instead of the appropriate website url or public IP address. Thanks so much, TP-Link!

Hi, The remote control of Deco is via Deco APP, and Deco does not support remote management via web UI so no port 80 has been occupied for HTTP login.
Have you ever checked whether the static IP address provided by ISP is the same IP when you check via http://whatismyip.com/?

Good to know on the Deco not using any remote web UI. So, yes I have checked with with ISP and showing the same static IP that they are. It's allowing me to forward and access other ports (tested 7000 range) but not 80 for some reason. Could there be another setting I need to change to access 80? My isp is saying it must be on the Deco's end. Thanks

Hi, Did you test most of the posts, and only port 80 is not working?
May I know who is your internet service provider?
And Would you mind trying to change the external port to have a look for example internal port-80, external port-81?
Thank you very much.

Hi, yes I've tried testing other ports and they all work correctly. I have also tested your suggestion of external port 81 to internal 80 and that works correctly also. But unfortunately, I cannot get 80 external to forward to 80 internal on my server.
And sure, my ISP is a wireless broadband company in the North Texas area called Cobalt Ridge. Any other suggestions?
Thank you

Hi, would there be any chance that ISP Cobalt Ridge might block port 80 for this static IP connection?

They say that all ports are open. When I run a port checker, it shows 80 is open.
