Dear community members

I bought tplink wireless router 850N on 30 August 2021

I bought this wireless router for my network printer canon ird e4225. My printer has ethernet port.

I have no internet connection in my shop

Because I used  internet via my mobile phone only with the help of  hotspot

My printer has no Wi-Fi connection directly,

only has a network ethernet connection

Along with ip address

So I decided to connect my tp link

Router to my printer via ethernet port locally to act as a wireless network

Once I connected together, i enabled my wifi connection on my mobile

It shows  tp link wireless router  on my mobile

but not show that printer's id or ip anything related to that printer

How to set my network printer act as a wireless with this tp link router

Please help me with this situation it's really necessary to me and my shop

Please reply asap

Thanks

Hello, as far as I know, the WR850N is a customized version for the local Internet Providers, I don't know if it has all the features on the generic versions. You can check if you can find similar settings as follows, if yes, you can install it to connect to the phone hotspot then plug it into the Ethernet port of the printer:

However, if you cannot find similar settings on the WR850N, I guess it is not supported to work in that way, you are suggested to contact your provider to confirm.
