Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hey guys,

In our old office we have 1 tp-link router with 1 WAN and 4 LAN ports.
All of ports connected to 4 different PC, and they're all in the same LAN, meaning they all can see and share files with each other.

For our new office, we want to use 2 or 3pieces Deco M5, and we want to connect all 4 PC to the Deco using wire.
Will this work the same, as our old office, meaning if we do so, will all 4 PC will be able to see each other and share files, since all of them are connected to Deco with wire?

For that purpose you can use the Guest Wi-Fi network. Thus you can create a separate network for guests to guarantee the security and privacy of your main network, and shake your device to share the network details easily with family and friends.

That should be possible since all the PCs would be in the same subnet - see this FAQ - Q9.

@terziyski

If another person, connects to our Wi-Fi, does it mean, that he'll be able to discover all our PC?

Can we somehow, isolate everyone whos connected to the wifi, from ones who connected to Deco directly using wire?

Meaning everyone who connected with wire, will see each other, but wireless don't ?
