@TP-Ссылка I am from Moldova. Sorry my English. I updated my two Deco M4 (V2) in the summer ver.1.5.0. Build 20210511 Rel.34580.
Problem 1. Very often my devices have connect/disconnect. I try 4-5 time before my phone open site (xiaomi 10T lite 6/128). And simetimes when I play online game with notebook (year 2019, i7-9750H, 16 Gb, ...) I have disconnect. It is very awful!
Problem 2. I connected to one Deco my ip-camera hik-vision, but after update 1.5.0 it is connecting few hours, after that disconnect. I can't use my ip-camera. It is tarrible.
Can I install new update M4R 2.0_1.5.2 Build 20210916 Rel. 56193? Is it help me?

@MrViks

Hi, sorry for the delay.

It Is ok for you to update firmware 1.5.2 from your current firmware 1.5.0.

I see that you have updated this firmware already.

How is everything going on with the new firmware?

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

I switched to a 500 Mbps line. But my deco's are connected by air. The speed is 200-250 Mbps (no more). And the problem is with the ip camera, sometimes it is visible, sometimes not. It connected by LAN. I think to buy a camera with wi-fi.

@TP-Link

The update of firmware has been a huge problem.

When I first got the Deco M4R (3 of them), i always got full speeds. No issues at all. 1Gbps connection and i got 600mbps on wifi.

I updated around a few months after, and the first set of problems started.

Everything worked smoothly after the update and a week later, speeds dropped from 600Mbps to 95Mbps. They would never cross 100Mbps.

Restarted the Main Deco, and speeds would return back to 600Mbps.

Every week this happened, so after 4 weeks, I reset all the Decos and changed the main Deco unit to another one and plugged that into the router.

I thought it should've solved the issue, but 2 weeks it worked well, and the same issue started again.

So I learned to live with it, everytime speed drops, restart the main deco from the App and speeds return back to normal.

Now following the latest update that was released, I assumed this issue was resolved.

1.5.2 Build 20210916 Rel. 56193

I updated all 3 Decos and as usual, speed returned to 600Mbps. But 5 days after updating, speeds dropped to 89Mbps.

Today, speeds were at 5Mbps.

No matter how many times I restart the Deco, speeds are either 5Mbps or between 80 and 90Mbps.

Can you please help provide a fix for this issue? Or if there's a way to factory reset the firmware to when I first received it, because this has become completely unusable.

Thank You.

@nikhilc

Hi, I would to check some details and then forward your case to the senior engineers.

1. May I know who is your internet service provider?

2. What is the internet connection type under Deco App>More>Advanced>IPV4?

3. All three units have the same speed issue, including the main Deco, right?

4. Have you enabled any high-priority devices under QoS?

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link

1. May I know who is your internet service provider? - 3BB (I temporarly enabled wlan on their router and connecting directly to that router i get full speeds)

2. What is the internet connection type under Deco App>More>Advanced>IPV4? - Dynamic IP

3. All three units have the same speed issue, including the main Deco, right? - Yes correct. I've switched the main deco twice when I reset the whole network on an earlier firmware.

4. Have you enabled any high-priority devices under QoS? - No high-priority devices under QoS. I tried setting my laptop with 1000 Mbps download but still only get between 80 to 90 Mbps.

Thank You.

@TP-Link even with the last update 1.5.2 after a week the speed drops again under 100Mbps! Do something with these updates because we pay 1Gbps at home and we can't use it  and most of us work remotely! Thank you

@KarelB

Hi,  the firmware 1.5.2 for Deco M4 v3 is not ready yet, currently only available for V1 and V2.

You could wait for a moment and normally the firmware will be related every Friday.

Thank you very much.

@VladStoica Hi, please have a check of the private message and help me get the required information.

Thank you very much.
