How would this affect the speeds?
The speeds i am getting on my router are 300Mbps down and 40Mbps up
If I run the TL-PA7017 which I believe is gigabyte Ethernet to my router and on the other side of the house use a 2x TL-PA4010 will I get the max 100Mbps down on both TL-PA4010 theoretically?
Speed will get reduced while signal being transmitted through powerline . 100Mbps Ethernet port means the speed will be capped under 100Mbps, the real speed is closely related to the powerline rate and also the speed coming from router.
To check if the speed is reasonable, please download tpPLC Utility and check the powerline rate (which is an indicator for the powerline environment) between your powerline units: https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/tl-pa7017p-kit/
