Deco M4 - main deco connectivity issues with iPhone 12
Hello,
I'm having weird problem -
when my iPhone (12 pro but happened also with my previous one) connected to the main deco when opening almost every application (gmail, chrome, outlook, teams, google maps and more) I'm getting kind of freeze (my guess is that the app trying to connect) and after 20-30 seconds that app either crash or successfully starts...
this isn't happening on 4g and also while connecting to the secondary deco.
anyone have any idea why is it happening? I tried everything I can find online (reset iPhone, reset network, and more).
Thanks!

Hi, here are some suggestions for your reference:
1. turn off the MESH Technology on the Deco APP for the IPhone 12 pro;
2. change the DNS server to be 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4, such as
If the issue continues, please try to turn off the Wi-Fi and enable it again to check whether it starts again;

@TP-Link thanks for your reply but issue still occurs.
I set up the dns like the image below-
Also diabled mesh for my iPhone but it seems to be ignored... I read somewhere that this a known issue.
So, I'm back to same point... any other idea?

''Also disabled mesh for my iPhone but it seems to be ignored... I read somewhere that this a known issue. '', Did you mean you could not disable Mesh on the iPhone 12 pro?
and for the ''somewhere about the known issue'' can I have some links, please?
Currently, except for the iPhone 12 pro, what are the other devices that have the same issue?
Thank you very much.

Thanks for your reply.
For the iPhone12 I disabled mesh on deco application. is there any other way to do it?
This connection freeze issue is happening alo with iPhone11 (same specific apps).
I can't find the link about the known issue, but as far as I remember it wasn't tp-link official.
What is our next step? how can we solve this issue? for now I'm using 4G and this isn't good solution...
Thanks,
Avri

Thank you and I would like to follow up on your case by email for further assistance.
By the way, except for the IOS devices, did other devices work fine with these applications, like android or windows devices?
Since previously you mentioned that the issue only existed on the main Deco, If connecting to the 2nd Deco, these application works fine; would you please check it again on the connection with the secondary deco?
