Archer T4U Plus stopped working

I just received my Archer T4U from Amazon and it was working fine for about 30 minutes. Then it just died. There is not even a light on it any more. I tried moving the USB plug and rebooting the PC but nothing. BUT... when I move it from the PC to my laptop it works. What could be preventing it from even getting the power light on my PC? It's just completely not recognized and not getting power. Other USB devices power up and work fine. Please help.

The OFF Led on a wireless adapter means the driver is not properly installed.
Please check if the adapter shows up under the Device manager-> Network adapter/Other device. It could be shown as " TPLINK USB XX " or " 802.11n/ac" or its chipset like " RTLXX/Atheros XX" etc.

If hardware is detected in Device manager, may I know what is the Status of the adapter. You could disable and enable tp-link adapter there, and disable other built in adapters.
Or you could uninstall the current driver and reinstall the official driver as the guide below
