Troubleshooting LED loop on Deco/ Deco stuck in solid yellow
This Article Applies to:
All Deco models
Typical Problem Description:
1. One of the Deco units was stuck in constant yellow light mode and was not able to enter setup mode (blue blinking light);
2. One of the Deco units goes into this reboot loop of Solid Yellow > Blinking Yellow > Blinking Blue > Off > Solid Yellow, this cycle keeps on repeating.
If Deco had a solid or flashing red, please have a look at this link: Deco turned red

Hi, welcome to the community.
In this way, It is very likely this Deco is broken and I see the SN is still under warranty, you could contact the shop retailer to get it replaced.
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

1. The model number as well as the firmware version of the Deco;
Deco X60 S/N Y215034A00377. Firmware is unknown, as I'm unable to make the device boot. I took it directly out of the box, and the problem started.
2. Which problem description is more like your current issue?
The device goes with a solid yellow light, then flashing blue, then it turns off and after that, it repeats the cycle.
3. Have you tried the hardware reset and firmware recovery suggestions? what are the results?
Yes, I've tried both in different computers, but Tftp tool doesn't get any logs in the mentioned tab, and if I try to do it without this tool, the computers can't access 192.168.0.1.

Deco XE75
i don't know what firmware version it's on. I can't connect to it to check.
Tried the firmware recovery. When I power on the device while holding the reset button, the light starts on solid yellow, Flashes green twice and then to solid green. No internet access and no way to connect to it.
this is the second time it's happened within a year of purchasing. The replacement units you sent me have the same problem as the original I bought.

Hi, welcome to the community.
After Deco XE75 went into firmware recovery mode/solid green, have you tried
- Set a static IP address of 192.168.0.2/255.255.255.0 on the PC’s Ethernet adapter.
- On the PC, open a browser, access http://192.168.0.1
- upload the latest firmware Deco XE75(US)_V1_1.1.8 Build 20221121
This Deco will have no internet in firmware recovery mode and the PC also does not need internet to access its web UI at this moment.
I see your previous ticket record with Deco XE75 and it only mentioned the instability issue of satellite Deco XE75. The suggestions here in this post are more suitable when the hardware of Deco might be broken.
By the way, could you please lease me a private message of the MAC address of this satellite XE75?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.
