Hi 

Just setting up a Deco M5 first time.

I've got a TalkTalk router with 1 WAN port (red) & 4 Ethernet ports (Yellow)

Do I connect to WAN or Ethernet?

WAN stands for Wide Area Network, this is the internet port if your connection used an external modem or other system requiring Ethernet rather than the cable to your phone line.

 

Just out of best practice, use port 1 of the yellow ports, although any should work.
