Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

After upgrading AX6000 to 1.2.1 my secondary AC1750 could not connect to the primary router via WDS. The connection was working flawlessly before the upgrade.

Since the downgrade path has been blocked for the AX6000 then I'm stuck. The only option seems to move AC1750 to ddwrt or similar.

Has anyone had similar experience?

@Kaspar

Can we have the model number of the AC1750 router? Have you tried to reconfigure both routers from scratch after the firmware update on the AX6000? We will confirm this. Please confirm if the WDS status is RUN or not after the reconfiguration.

BTW, do you remember the previous version of the AX6000, we will also check if we can help with the firmware downgrade.

@Kevin_Z Archer C7, latest firmware. It's the V2 version, I believe. WDS connects with another router, albeit drops connection every 5 minutes or so.

Ax6000 was on Archer AX6000(US)_V1_200714

I have tried both with Archer AX6000(EU)_V1_210205 (Did not work) and Archer AX6000(EU)_V1_210223 (did not work either)

@Kevin_Z The downgrade helped and the WDS connection is stable again. It seemed to drop every 30 seconds or something like this before.

@Kaspar

Thanks a lot for getting back with the valued info. We have reported the issue to the support engineers, they will investigate this further.

Just to confirm, can you recall what is the detailed phenomenon when the WDS router drops every 30 seconds from the AX6000? Any LED status change? Or any screenshot that we can have a reference?

@Kevin_Z I have nothing to notice, simply I recall that the connection went unstable and I saw in the logs errors with 30 sec intervals. No LED issue was visible
