Hello ! 
I Need Help to Connect my VR400 to VR600 
The VR600 is my main internet router 
I bought VR400 and connected it to my VR600 to extend the WIFI Range 
should i use Crossover cable or straight 
should i connect the Network cable to Wan port on the VR400 
How to configure the VR400

Hey

 

On the VR400 under ADVANCED   OPERATION MODE    change this to wireless router mode

 

 

you should then be able to connect the LAN / WAN port (it should be marked on back) to the other Router..   straight through cable (normal patch cable)

 

Reboot and it should work for you, you can then change the WiFi name and pass as required.

If you want to go further and avoid the double NAT in your LAN (from introducing the VR400 as a second router), you can follow this guide and use the VR400 as an AP.

The cabling in that case would be VR600 LAN (any LAN port) to VR400 LAN (any, but LAN4/WAN port).
