So, the old one (MR600 V1) got IPSEC under VPN, the new one (MR600 V2) didnt?.

 

The document says yes, am i missing something?  1910012928_Archer MR600(EU)_UG_REV2.0.0.pdf (tp-link.com)

 

The interface only list

 

  • OpenVPN
  • PPTP VPN

Sorry to make you confused. As far as I know, the MR600 v2 doesn't support the IPSec VPN Server, it only supports PPTP VPN and OpenVPN, we will update the User Guide soon.

Thanks for information, you said that it can't be ipsec server, but can it be ipsec client ?

Nope, it doesn't support VPN Client.

@Kevin_Z what are the plans to support site 2 site VPN using IPSEC again as you have in version 1 of the MR 600.

 

I went bought 2 units specifically for this service?

did you install and tryed thhis firmware ? Io choiched this appliance because in the online emulator this feature was available ...

Hi, for MR600 V2, please download the firmware from link below:

https://static.tp-link.com/upload/beta/2021/202110/20211019/Archer_MR600(EU)_V2_211018.zip
 

 

After you extract it, you will see a .bin file which is the firmware, and please refer to the local upgrade part in the instruction below to update the firmware, then check if IPSec VPN works:
