RE 200 Wifi LED is red but wireless is working

I installed the RE200 extender yesterday, the 2.4G and 5G leds are sold green. The Wifi led stays green for a while then turns red for a minute or so then green again for a while then red again for a minute or so and so on. Even when the WiFi led turns red, I can still connect to the internet. Could someone help me with this?

Hi, thanks for your patience.

For the wireless LED,

Solid red

The extender is experiencing poor signal strength. Try relocating it closer to your host router.

Have you tried to move it much closer to have a look?

And if possible, please also try to modify the wireless channel on the main router, like channel 11 for 2.4ghz, channel 40 for 5ghz to reduce the wireless interference;
