Model: TL-PA8030P KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Apologies if this is a stupid question, I am a newbie to powerline.

I have 2x TL-PA8030P units to provide link from one end of house to another. Can I add a TL-WPA8631P wifi powerline unit to this network as well? My research suggests yes as both units are Homeplug AV2 standard. Assuming yes, will the powerline side of things auto configure, or will I need to manually pair the new unit to the current network?

I believe configuration of the wifi side of things will be quite easy using the WPS buttons. Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards

Malcolm

@Mr_Smith

Hi,

It is ok to add a TL-WPA8631P into the TL-PA8030Pkit.

And you might still need to press the pair button to pair them altogether;

Thank you very much.
