My 3-point mesh P9 works well, wifi coverage seems great all lights white. No apparent problems.

 

However when I open the app I have an about 50% of the time I have indication that one of the satellites is disconnected and therefore I cannot see what is connected to that satellite. It claims it cannot find the satellite, even when my phone is right next to said satellite.

 

Is this a problem with the app, my phone or the network?

Hi, could you please try to update the following firmware on the P9 to have a look:

The firmware link:

https://static.tp-link.com/beta/2021/202101/20210118/Deco_P9_1.1.3_20210115_debug.zipa

and how to update the firmware:

https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202012/20201207/Documentation for upgrading Deco system.pdf

Device is saying it has the most up to date firmware and, as other users have pointed out, it does not resolved the situation

 

Ultimately the hardware is working as expected it appears the app is misrepresenting what the decos are doing.

 

Proximity it not an issue. When this issue first presented I put all three decos in the same room.... All white lights yet the app was saying one was disconnected.
