@Kevin_Z on the global website you can only find a beta Firmware released 2020-06-28 (V1_0.5.0_0.9.1). There is a V1_0.6.0_0.9.1 you can find here on the forum.
The German Version is V1.2.0_0.9.1 (stable) and V1.4.0_0.9.1 (beta). The 1.2.0 is outdated (2018) and the 1.4.0 beta isn't working properly.
So where to find new firmware versions?

@Kevin_Z Do I get an answer on this question? Where to get the 2021 firmware?

Hi, Why did you need the 2021 firmware?
The beta firmware is used to fix some specific issues and not suitable for all users.
And I have seen there are some OneMesh related posts under your profile and if you wonder the firmware 2021 supported OneMesh or not, it did not;
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link the newest non beta firmware for the vr2800V on the tp-link-website is dated 2018, or outdated! The newer beta firmware, dated 2020, is meant to "enhance the performance and it's recommended to upgrade to this firmware for a better experience."
Unfortunately updating to the beta firmware results in problems with connecting to the router itself (after logging in to the router I get a time out after around 30 seconds and have to reboot the router to reconnect to it) to configure it and wifi issues and more.
So I "need" this firmware, because I'd like to have an up to date experience with my top class router. And yes, I've posted on some mesh related topics, because I thought, that buying a top class router meant getting top class features.
Now I know better and how TP-Link thinks about this point and the customers, so I only want this "enhanced performance"!
