Hi,

Some devices keep getting disconnected from my router.

I checked the logs and searched for both the IP and MAC of one of the devices that keeps getting disconnected.

Sat Jan  9 22:09:12 2021 daemon.notice nrd[32206]: wlanifLinkEventsCmnGenerateDisassocEvent: Client 44:23:7C:3B:8E:12 disassociated on APId 255 ChanId 10  ESSId 0
Sat Jan  9 22:09:12 2021 daemon.err client_mgmt: wireless client associate or disassociate.
Sat Jan  9 22:09:12 2021 daemon.err client_mgmt: client_mac:44-23-7C-3B-8E-12, client_ifname:ath0, client_action:disassociate
Sat Jan  9 22:09:12 2021 daemon.err client_mgmt: client(44-23-7C-3B-8E-12) disassocaite by if(ath0).

What does `wlanifLinkEventsCmnGenerateDisassocEvent` mean? Is there a way this can be resolved or debugged?

P.S.
I've also seen multiple spelling mistakes like `disassocaite` and `measuremrent`

@kbarendrecht

Hi, thanks a lot for your feedback.

As for the spelling mistake, would you mind sending me a full log of these spelling mistakes so that later we might need to forward it to the engineers directly

As for the unstable connection, could you please help me check the following information:

1. What are the devices that would have an unstable connection?

2. Would turning off the Mesh Technology on these devices help or not

3. How about the dropping frequency of these devices, like multiple times a day?

4. What need you do to recover the connection, rebooting the Deco, or it would re-store automatically

Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

@TP-Link

Sorry for the late response.

The devices are 2 of the same: Xiaomi Yeelight Smart Filament Bulb. They worked perfectly with the default router from my ISP.

I turned off mesh already, makes no difference.

They seem to disconnect after about 8-12 hours. Possibly on renewing lease?

To make the lights function again I have to power off the lights and back on. They won't come back otherwise.

Best regards,

Kars

@TP-Link hello?

I've tried everything you said. Also tried giving them a dedicated IP. I know the lights function properly with my ISP's default router. Can this be fixed in your product?

Best regards,

Kars
