I have a TP-Link TL-WPA8630PKIT V2 Dual Band Gigabit Passthrough AC1350 Powerline Adapter Starter Kit. I want to add an additonal TL-WPA8630 to connect a smart TV in another room. Do I need a TL-WPA8630 as they are £150 on Amazon, can I use another TP-link product?

Hi,

Do you need to connect the smart TV via cable to the powerline adapter or Wi-Fi?

If it is only Ethernet connection, the TL-PA8010Kit would be well enough.

Thanks for the reply, I really need a power line adapter & Wifi.

I cannot find any supplier that has the TP-Link TL-WPA8630P add on adapter in stock. Have TP-Link discontinued this product?
