I was looking at the logs of my M5's today and noticed 100 if not 1000's of pages mostly showing the following 

 

Thu Jan 7 11:46:01 2021 authpriv.notice dropbear[27146]: Pubkey auth succeeded for 'root' with key sha1!! 05:e3:f8:33:38:82:53:e6:ff:ca:75:a9:3e:5d:35:76:ba:20:06:c4 from 192.168.8.101:41782

 

I have 4 decos, 3 of them are connected via ethernet and 1 is wireless.

 

Any reason why the logs are flooded with the above?

Hi, I am sorry that there is no obvious clue about what happened.

May I know which device used the IP 192.168.8.101?

Did you open any port for this device, like 41782

@TP-Link 192.168.8.101 is the main Deco

@Lordvader I am having the same issue as you now. and my ethernet backhaul deco disconnects devices from wifi too. but the light on it stays green through all of this. 

 

any solution?

I just installed 2 Deco 9's and had something similar occur.  The network completely shutdown then came back.  

 

Was there an explanation for this message?

@TP-Link my logs are flooded with that too and I'm also having the same symptoms as described above. I posted at this thread (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/157421?page=8), I don't know if both issues are related to each other
