RE200 v3 "weak security" after iOS 14 update.

I'm starting a new thread because after scouring all other threads regarding this issue, there doesn't seem to be a solution for RE200 v3.
My router itself is using WPA2, and all is good. I've updated my RE firmware, and factory reset it completely; reconnected it to my router. But still, it's showing "weak security". I should add that everything is up-to-date. including my router, iOS, etc.

Even though your iOS device recognizes the range extender network as weak security, it connects to the network with the stronger WPA2+AES by default, so there won’t be any security concerns upon to this point.
NOT reassuring at all. Is there a page from Apple or elsewhere that can verify this claim? or when will the new firmware to correct this issue be available? many thanks.
